Andreas Gursky
The man who does the really really large photographs is back in town, with a show of his latest pieces at the White Cube in Piccadilly, and a few more round the corner at Monika Spruth Philomene Magers (catchy name eh?).
We particularly liked the stunning series of theatrical shots of Formula 1 pit teams, all looking vaguely demonic in their crash helmets.
A lot of the work had a kind of "Where's Wally?" quality to it. Which sounds bad, but isn't.
The White Cube show runs till 5 May, and the other one till 12 May. Scoot along.
