Long John Silver vs. The Count of Monte Cristo?
Two of our favourite jewellers have recently launched some spectacular new pieces for men, both of them riffing on an 18th Century roguish vibe.
Hannah Martin has just let loose the Forgotten Treasure of The Infamous Aguila Dorada collection:
Pirate gold and ill-gotten treasure for men who have dark secrets...inspired by guns and galleons, villains and vagabonds.
With pieces like the Twisted Shackle Ring (shown top), made from 18 carat yellow and red gold with brown diamonds, this stuff is for villains who've recently pocketed a stack of loot.
Meanwhile, Sarah Raffel at Brazen, the maverick jewellery design studio and gallery from Glasgow, has created the beautiful Coat of Arms series of necklaces (shown bottom) in oxidised silver and onyx. Deeply delicious.
