Mother Mash

Mother_mash

Is there a finer meal than pie and mash? When you're feeling like something really comforting, nothing else hits the spot in quite the same way.

So we, and our stomachs, were well pleased to be introduced to Mother Mash, a little diner on Ganton St (just off Carnaby St) that specialises in, well, pies and mash.

You can pick from a selection of mashes (classic, cheesy, cheesy mustard, cheese and onion; or get creative with a DIY mix), a selection of pies (we went for the Chicken and Leek with the cheesy mash), some tasty sausages, and a variety of gravies. Add some side dishes and a perfect range of puddings, and you've got the recipe for a warm glowy feeling for the rest of the day.

Yum, yum, yum.
