I’ve worked with fine printers Benwells for many years now, and they asked me to put together a Christmas card for them, working from the identity work I’d done for them previously.

The cards had their logo blind embossed to the front, with two metallic foils on the inside, and a single foil on the back. To give them a snowy Christmas feel, I specified a textured white card, Accent Antique from GF Smith papers.

The folks at Benwells loved the design, so decided to create a whole series of general use cards without the text on the inside. These were printed on GF Smith’s Extract papers, which are made from recycled paper cups, and come in a range of pleasing colours.
