As part of my overall identity work for London Cycling Campaign, I was asked to create a new membership pack to welcome new members.

We wanted to create something visually impactful, but which didn’t cost too much to produce, and had a light environmental impact.

I designed a cardboard mailer which was sized to fit the organisation’s London Cyclist magazine, but with room for an additional membership leaflet, bike sticker, membership card, and welcome letter. Graphics were printed directly onto the mailer, in black only. We printed text onto the outside as well as the inside, so that it would have an impact even just sitting on a doormat. The membership leaflet is a concertina folded A6, for which I created a new piece of LCC branding – a ‘Your voice for a cycling city’ speech bubble logo.
